Perth Concert Hall has chosen the interactive seating plan solution from Venueviewer to show the public the interior of the auditorium prior to its opening date in September 2005.
Following on from the successful implementation at www.bridgewater-hall.co.uk in Manchester the Head of Marketing at Perth Barbara Chalmers commented "Venueviewer will excite our customers prior to the opening and help them choose there seats when we launch our new programme in September".
VenueViewer is a unique system which allows the audience to not only select but also see an exact 3D representation of the view from their seat when buying their tickets online. This exceptional solution creates files sizes that download fast; the Perth Concert Hall 1,200-seat auditorium file size is only 500K or 11 seconds via broadband.
VenueViewer interactive seating plans use the latest web 3D technology to deliver an incredibly accurate representation of the view from their seat.
The Concert Hall has risen from the site of the once bustling Horsecross market area, transforming a neglected area and acting as the catalyst for ambitious plans to transform Perth into one of Europe's most vibrant small cities by 2010. Unique design and modern technology morph the 1,200-seat auditorium from concert hall to boxing ring, fashion catwalk to motor show, party conference to dinner dance.
The vision to build a οΎ£20 million Concert Hall was part of Perth's Millennium celebrations. A successful fundraising campaign raised the money from Perth & Kinross Council, Perth & Kinross Leisure, The Gannochy Trust, Scottish Enterprise Tayside and Norwich Union.
