Presentation material and coaching developed by Tickle made Kier the successful bidder in a pitch to be part of a ten year strategic alliance with Her Majesty's Prison Service.

Kier Custodial, part of the Kier Group, has secured a ten year strategic alliance with Her Majesty's Prison Service, as one of their preferred constructors, to carry out new build projects throughout the UK.

One of eight constructors in the framework, Kier has been allocated all six regions in England and Wales, and will be awarded projects without the need to pre-qualify or bid for up to £150m of work per annum.

Marriott Construction, part of the Kier Group, has already started work at HMP Wellingborough to construct a new kitchen and carry out external works, and Kier Northern will shortly undertake a project at HMP Low-Newton, Durham to upgrade the perimeter wall and security systems.

All projects will be centrally managed by Kier Custodial and works will be carried out by the Group's regional operating companies.
