The Tickle Group have been shortlisted in two categories at the Big Chip Awards 2005. The shortlist features some of the biggest names in digital media. Now in its seventh year, the awards celebrate the wealth of talent in digital industries in the North.
VenueViewer, developed by Tickle, is a unique system which provides users with an accurate 3D representation of their seat within a venue before they purchase their ticket.
The VenueViewer system has been short isted for two Big Chip Awards; Best Use Of Broadband and The Big Chip Innovation Award.
Using the latest web 3D technology, the VenueViewer system can provide an accurate 3D representation of venues from small 200 seat theatres to vast 30,000 seat stadiums.
At present 51% of all theatre tickets are purchased via the internet and internet users are becoming more and more demanding; expecting up to date content rich web sites. VenueViewer aims to satisfy and exceed their expectations with very little effort to the client, it can even integrate into existing ticketing systems.
